Technical Societies Concerned with Steel Continuous Casting Processes

The American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical, and Petroleum Engineers
It is the objective of AIME to advance the knowledge of engineering and the art and sciences involved in the production and use of minerals, metals, materials, and energy resources, and to record and disseminate significant developments in these areas.

Association for Iron and Steel Technology
Two longstanding societies, the Association of Iron and Steel Engineers (AISE) and the Iron & Steel Society (ISS), have now come together to build an organization that can endure the changes in the industry while providing unparalleled value for their combined membership.
The Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST) was established on January 1, 2004, with a goal of advancing the technical development, production, processing and application of iron and steel. The best practices of both predecessor organizations were incorporated into AIST, and we now have a strong, international, member-based technical organization that can sustain itself in an environment of continual change.

CFD Library
The CFD literature library is a comprehensive list of books on CFD and other various topics. It also has links where these books can be purchased.

CFD Online
An online center for Computational Fluid Dynamics.

Latin American Iron And Steel Institute (Spanish)
The purpose of ILFA is to promote the interests of the regional iron and steel enterprises, provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge and discussion on issues of common interest, and furnish the necessary technical and economic information by way of publications, meetings and the co-operation with other national, regional and international organizations.

The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society
The mission of TMS is to promote the global science and engineering professions concerned with minerals, metals, and materials.
